AUDITORY TRAINING FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
Hearing louder doesn't always equate to hearing with clarity. As such, the desired effect of fitting a hearing aid (or having a cochlear implant) can sometimes be disappointing. Auditory training helps individuals with hearing loss to hear with clarity through a series of individualized listening exercises. Through auditory training, you can not only listen with clarity, but also to socialize and function well in your daily life.
DIR FLOORTIME
Floortime is a therapeutic approach that can be used by parents, teachers and therapists to facilitate social communication development through a nurturing relationship. Floortime emphasizes the need to build strong foundations in order for the individual to grow socioemotionally as well as to attend and learn through natural interactions.
ARTICULATION AND PHONOLOGY
We focus on helping your child with pronunciation so that the spoken output can be easily perceived. In fact, we can also provide therapy for children with cleft lip and palate as well!
Unlike traditional social skills approaches, our approach focuses on intrinsic motivation so that children feel enabled and successful within the social situation. We help children engage, relate and communicate their ideas with others through play. It is through play that children starts to take on others' perspective over time.
We are also well-versed with other programmes such Learn to Play Therapy and Social Thinking
We provide auditory training for children and adult with Central Auditory Processing Disorder. We support your child's language, Attention and Memory to ensure holistic care.
ATTENTION and MEMORY
The ability to attend and remember are crucial for following instructions, learning and academic success. This same skill is equally important for adults to function well in their personal, work life and social life.
PARENT COACHING
Parents are your child's most valuable teachers because you know your child best and you are the person with whom your child spends the most time. Through coaching, we empower parents like you, and the other people who love and care for your child, with tools and strategies to help your child move onto a positive developmental path as soon as possible.
